Is my Boat Extended service plan transferable?Yes. By transferring your service plan over to the buyer, some owners have found it easier to sell.Can I cancel my service policy at anytime?Yes. Just send us a letter stating you would like to cancel your service agreement, (please note the current mileage if you have a motorhome). Along with a copy of your service contract. If it's within 30 days of purchase and you have not made a claim, you'll receive a full refund. After 30 days, provide a signed letter of cancellation and Odometer Disclosure statement (for Motorized Vehicles) and per the Terms and Conditions of your vehicle service contract, your refund will be prorated by the time and mileage used and refunded by the Warranty Company.Where do we get service if we are away from home?Boat Extended Warranties provides a nationwide toll-free customer assistance number to meet all your claims needs.Do I pay for the repairs?No. Simply have the service manager call the toll-free number before any repairs have been started and he will receive authorization and payment information. Either direct bill or by a corporate credit card. All you are responsible for is your deductible and non-covered items.Can my neighbor do my repairs?Yes. If he works at or owns a licensed repair shop in the U.S. or Canada.Are these the same service agreements offered by my dealer?Yes, Boat Extended Warranties provides the same warranty (or warranties) offered by many dealers nationwide.Is the labor charge covered?Yes. If you have no claims of any kind before the full term agreement expires, We will refund you the full purchase price of the vehicle service contract. The following Terms and Conditions apply.
1. You must own the warranty policy until the full term expires to qualify.
2. The vehicle or boat must be registered in the name of the original policy holder at the time of warranty expiration for refund. This must be verified by current registration and current Insurance card.
3. Only the following terms apply for refund:
New - 6 and 7 year policies Used - 3 and 4 year policies
4. You must remit a copy of the original quote and vehicle service contract 30 days or 1,000 miles before the vehicle service contract expires as well as a notarized Odometer Disclosure Statement for motorized vehicle service contracts, verifying current mileage, to apply for the 100% refund.Why do I need a Boat Extended service plan?With the cost of repair parts and labor rising daily and not knowing where a possible mechanical breakdown may occur. You will at least have the peace of mind knowing that most problems can be taken care without a lot of cash out of your pocket with a Boat Extended extended service agreement by Boat Extended Warranties.Is the deductible charged on each item?No. The deductible is per visit, regardless of the number of covered repairs needed.
Can I get an exclusionary warranty policy for my Used Vehicle?
Yes! The coverages listed on our website are available for used
vehicles. In most cases used vehicles still qualify for an exclusionary warranty
policy. (The actual coverage may vary depending on age of vehicle and mileage.) For
your exact coverage, please refer to the warranty contract quoted or to Warranty
Experts.
